This is one of the Christmas cards that I made. Dave said that with everyone I make, they get better. LOL Think he is trying to tell me that my first few were ugly?

Brad
This is a picture of my son Brad. I had an assignment for an art class that I took and it was to make something from scratch and this is what I chose. The colar around the jacket was made by tearing the cardstock and putting it into the blender. I then added some water to blend it. Once it was done, I took it out and fluffed it with a fork and baked it in the oven to make the look of the jacket. The lenses in the glasses were made by using assitate and a lighter. A flower bead was used to make the braces. Chalk was also used in coloring his face.
Scrapbooking
Scrapbooking is a great way to preserve your personal and family history. Scrapbooks provide a snapshot of your life at a certain point in time, and can contain text, pictures and other objects that have meaning for you. The typical scrapbook will include photographs, printed media, and artwork.
To me, scrapbooking is a stress relief as well as a chance to recapture the moments in a picture. My goal for this blog is to post pictures of places that I have been, pages and or projects that I am working on and hopefully hear some feed back on what people think.
I have currently been working on making some homemade Christmas cards for family and friends and I am going to post some of those as well.
The first pictures that I am attaching are shoes that I made for my local scrapbook store. We have a group that gets together once a month and the owner gives us a bag full of goodies to recreate something. It does not have to be a page but it is a way of getting out of the box and creating something new.
I hope that you like it,
Alli
